32-BIT QUICKDRAW
32-Bit QuickDraw allows Macintosh II computers and the Macintosh SE/30 to display or work with images that have more than 256 colors. If you have installed a 16-bit or 32-bit video card, you can display the full range of visible color. Even if your model of the Macintosh II computer or Macintosh SE/30 has an 8-bit video card, you will be able to manipulate and view data with more than 256 colors. In addition, 32-Bit QuickDraw provides better support for processing gray-scale images.
NOTE: If you have a Macintosh IIci, Macintosh IIfx, Macintosh IIsi, or Macintosh LC, you do not need to install 32-Bit QuickDraw. The 32-Bit QuickDraw software is built into these computers.
INSTALLING 32-BIT QUICKDRAW
Drag the file 32-Bit QuickDraw to the System Folder of your startup disk. If you see a message asking whether to replace items with the same name, click OK.
